The manufacturer is one of the oldest and best known companies in the European automotive industry. Peugeot has emerged from the commitment of the same family of entrepreneurs, notably the brothers Jean-Frédéric and Jean-Pierre Peugeot, which opened in 1810 in present-day French département of Doubs, a small iron foundry. The product range included from the 1820s, mainly tools and hardware, which were soon made not only in the parent factory in Hérimoncourt, but our manufacturing facilities.
